For the past six years, Institute Diversity has published Faces of Inclusive Excellence to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves in professional endeavors related to their research, teaching, leadership, and/or public service activities at Georgia Tech.
Faces of Inclusive Excellence recognizes faculty, staff, and students whose accomplishments in their research, teaching, leadership and/or service endeavors have earned special awards or recognition (e.g. career promotion, publication of research, books, articles, grant awards, and service recognition citations) during the 2018-19 academic year.
All faculty, staff, and students are eligible for this recognition – including previous honorees.
Nominations, including self-nominations, may be made by all Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and students. Nominations will be accepted here through June 14, 2019.
Faces of Inclusive Excellence will be presented at the 11th Annual Diversity Symposium on September 4, 2019. This year’s theme is “Georgia Tech's Racial Diversity Journey: Recognizing Our Past, Acknowledging Our Present, and Charting Our Future,” which will explore the principles of racial diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Georgia Tech community.
